Outside Sales Representatives:

If you are ambitious and can satisfy customer needs and know how to address them, then Viking Building Services has immediate openings for you in our Sales Department.

Position Description: As a business to business sales company, we employ telemarketers to schedule qualified appointments for you. Your job is to meet with prospects, assess their needs, generate proposals and to close the deal! Our web-based sales software is used to follow-up and convert ‘pipeline’ prospects into customers. This position also requires cold calling on prospective accounts. Calling hours are typically normal business hours between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm.

Success Factors: Outgoing sales type personality that thrives on closing deals, ability to comply with a proven sales approach and process, ability to work independently, to take a genuine interest in the success of the office and to have a positive and proactive attitude.

Qualifications: Computer, internet and computer program working knowledge. Preferred: 1-2 years of outside business to business sales experience.

Compensation: Compensation is based on performance. Annual compensation should reach $50K at minimum and could approach or exceed $90K for a top-notch performer.

Inside Sales Representatives:

Position Description: This position is responsible for calling on businesses to schedule appointments for our outside sales personnel to provide quotes for our services. Calling hours are typically normal business hours between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm.

 

 

Success Factors: Ability to make 200+ calls a day with a positive attitude toward appointment setting is a critical success factor. Approaching each call with a positive ‘I am going to set an appointment’ attitude is what we are looking for. Understanding our business and having the ability to address questions and concerns is vital to your success in this position. Desire to take a genuine interest in the office in an important attitude.

 

Skills Required: Computer, internet and computer program working knowledge. Preferred: 1-2 years of inside business to business customer service or calling experience.

Operations Manager:

Position Description: This position in the operations department is responsible for training cleaning agents, acting as the liaison between customers and cleaners, conducting on-site inspections, and customer account system updates. Office hours are somewhat flexible because some Viking training and account inspections occur after normal business hours.

Success Factors:  Proactive and positive interpersonal communication skills are essential. You must possess the desire to train and encourage the cleaning agents. You must be self motivated and able to work independently. The ability to problem solve and ‘think on your feet’, to take a genuine interest in the success of the office and to have a positive and proactive attitude will allow you to succeed as part of the Viking team.

Skills Required: People supervision and/or management experience along with good interpersonal communications skills. Preferred: 2+ years of personnel supervision.

Compensation: A base salary combined with an incentive package based on customer satisfaction.

Professional Cleaning Agent

Position Description: This position is responsible for maintaining the appearance of our customer’s buildings.


Skills Required: To be considered for a cleaning agent with Viking Building Services you must have at least 1 year of cleaning experience, reliable transportation, and a cell phone. You must be able to pass a background check. You must be able to work without supervision and to perform basic cleaning duties. All agents MUST complete and pass the Viking Training Program.

Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Ability to stand and perform physical tasks for up to six hours at a time. Ability to use stepladder to reach light fixtures, cabinets, etc.

Compensation: A hourly wage combined with an incentive package based on customer satisfaction.
